Silicone Sponge Sheeting
SILPRO EXTRUSIONS PRODUCE A WIDE RANGE OF EXTRUDED AND CALENDARED SPONGE SHEETING. SILICONE SPONGE SHEETING IS AN OUTSTANDING MATERIAL FOR USE IN SEALING ENVIRONMENTS/APPLICATIONS.
Silicone sponge sheeting is available in a wide choice of different materials, thicknesses, densities and colour. With available widths of 1.0m – 1.1m and thicknesses from 1.5mm > 40mm, our sheeting products can be supplied plain (smooth finish) or with self adhesive or fabric finishes.
The ability to fill uneven gaps / cavities is a leading attribute of silicone sponge sheeting. This along with the protection it can offer against moisture and dust ingress means this product is widely used in sealing environments by way of die or waterjet cut gaskets.
Silpro typically supply silicone sponge sheeting in the following materials:-
- SP400-16 – Medium soft
- SP400-24 – Medium
**Sheeting in other densities are available on request.
As well as its use in industry, Silpro have also supplied bespoke colour-matched sheets for design and aesthetical applications where look and feel is the primary consideration.
Manufacturing Capabilities
